EXCITEMENT ON THE PROPERTY
You might have noticed some excitement on our new property in the last few weeks as the drainage is being rerouted. This work is being performed under the direction of the University as part of the land deal that was finalized on June 8, 2022, on the Feast of Our Lady of Wisdom. The new drainage lines run between what will be the foundation for the new building and the Century Oaks. We are now the stewards of these beautiful Live Oaks! Bob’s Tree Service trimmed the tree roots to protect them from the construction and trimmed tree branches to allow space for the construction equipment needed for the drainage work. The tree clippings were used to mulch underneath the tree canopy and help ensure their health. The work should be completed before the beginning of the fall semester.
