The Cardinal Newman Lecture Series is a tradition that dates back to the 1950s. This year the lecture series will be held via Zoom Webinars.

This is an exclusive video lecture by Fr. Jacques Philippe to be presented on April 22, 2021. We will host a ticketed in-person community event at Our Lady of Wisdom in Jeanmard Hall, beginning at 6:30 PM for cocktails, with the video presentation at 7, followed by opportunities for discussion & visiting. Seating is very limited; get your tickets now!

The video presentation will be available for on-demand viewing by donation as well. Register to view online and a link and password will be sent to you on April 22. The video will be available for 90 days. All those who purchase tickets for the in-person community event will also receive the link and password for viewing on-demand.

Fr. Jacques Philippe is a member of the Community of the Beatitudes, founded in France in 1983. After studying in Nazareth, Jerusalem, and Rome, he was ordained a priest in 1985. He primarily devotes himself to spiritual direction and preaching retreats internationally. His published books on spirituality are the consolidated result of such work. He is the author of Searching for and Maintaining Peace, Fire & Light, Interior Freedom, Time for God, The Way of Trust and Love, and The Eight Doors of the Kingdom, among others. Father Philippe’s books have sold over a million copies in 24 languages.
